FAQ's
1. Do you charge for postage?
All postage to mainland UK is free.
If you live outside of the UK then postage will be charged.
Please contact us if you require the cost for posting to a country outside mainland UK.
2. How do I go about ordering something?
Ordering goods is very simple and there are a number of options for placing your order. Once you have looked through the site and decided what you want you can then proceed with your order either:-
Through the website
Click on the appropriate items in order to add them to your shopping basket. Making sure you have selected the appropriate size, amounts and colour. Then simply click on Buy Now and follow the step by step instructions.
By phone
Drop us a line on 01437 729070. Where you can place your order and pay by Credit/Debit card or if you prefer you can arrange to pay by cheque. Cheques to be made out to 'Jalimali Ltd'. Please make sure that you have the appropriate name or code, size and colour of each item you wish to order and your account details to hand.

3. Will my card details be secure?
All of our transactions are carried out through PAYPAL where we hold an account. This is a secure way of paying for goods without having to reveal your card details. Therefore security is effectively controlled by PAYPAL while Jalimali neither collects nor stores any of the cardholder’s card details.

4. Do you have a Fair Trade Policy?
Yes we do. All of our goods are purchased from small community based workshops in India and Nepal which have been visited by Jalimali personally. Please click on the Fair Trade link on the home page for further details.
5. Once I have put in an order can I change or cancel it?
As long as the order has not been dispatched then we can arrange for the alternative order to be placed or to cancel the original request and refund your payment by Credit/Debit card through PAYPAL within 30 working days.
If the goods have been dispatched or you have already received your goods then they must be returned to Jalimali within 7 days of the date of receipt (within 14 working days if you are outside of the UK). Refunds will only be offered if the goods that you received are damaged or if items of clothing do not fit. For all other returns a credit note or replacement item of equal value will be provided.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the goods are adequately packed to avoid damage during the return journey and will have to cover the cost of any postage and other costs incurred by themselves and Jalimali.
Payment will be received with 30 days of the receipt of the returned goods. Refunds will be made by Credit/Debit card through PAYPAL.
If you do not inform us within the stated period of time then we have no liability for the items.
6. Where do you source your stock?
The majority of the stock is personally sourced by Jalimali in Nepal, India and Thailand.
7. Can I return my order if I don’t like it? How do I go about returning a purchased item?
If you wish to return an order then the goods must be returned to Jalimali within 7 days of the date of receipt (within 14 working days if you are outside of the UK). Refunds will only be offered if the goods that you receive are damaged or if items of clothing do not fit. For all other returns a credit note or replacement item of equal value will be provided.

It is highly advisable to obtain a proof of postage certificate when returning goods as Jalimali cannot be held responsible for any goods that may be lost in transit.

In the interests of hygiene earrings cannot be returned.
Jalimali will not accept any returned goods that have been damaged because of poor use, accident or neglect.
8. How long will it take to deliver my order?
All goods will be dispatched for deliveries in the UK within 3 working days from the receipt of the order and payment. For deliveries outside of the UK within 7 working days. We will make every effort to keep to these schedules. However in some cases where a product is out of stock delivery may take longer. We will contact you to inform you of the delay if this occurs.
9. What happens if you do not have what I have ordered in stock?
If the item that you wish to order is not in stock then we will inform you as soon as possible. We will then endeavour to restock the item as soon as we can. This will normally not take too long but in some cases the items will need to be shipped a long way and may take some time to arrive. Sometimes we may have difficulty sourcing some items but this is very rare. If this is the case we are happy to offer a similar item.
10. Do the prices include VAT?
Yes all stated prices on the website are inclusive of VAT.
11. Can I order things from outside the UK?
If you wish to order goods and you are outside of the UK then please contact us before placing your order so that we can advise on postage and packaging costs. You can either
